Fabulously friendly staff and the place was spotless. I loved that the room was surprisingly large and freshly decorated. Fruit and pastries they served for breakfast where awesome! Unbeatable commercial hotel location. Fine lobby.

Bed was cozy, I enjoyed it. The selection of different fresh fruit and pastries was a bonus. The hotel was adjacent to the wonderful beach. A truly memorable stay.

The property was tidy, featured lovely design, I enjoyed it. All staff was responsive, resolved my issues. Food was fresh, reasonably priced. Easy walk to the amazing beach.

We truly enjoyed facilities and location, the venue organised everything for us. There is bar the lockhouse cafe, set 500 metres walk away. Brilliant base for 2 nights: D

the location was great for first time visitors to york. set only 400 metres away, the lockhouse cafe is a wonderful place to eat nearby. even the leeds bradford airport was not so far.
